Client Merge

Users will now be able to merge duplicate clients within CAREWare with the use of the merge client feature. Before merging client records, create a backup by following the instructions here.

Select the client you wish to keep and click Merge Client in the client's record.

Click OK if you have already created a backup of the CAREWare database.

Once a duplicate client is identified within CAREWare a user will be able to merge that client with the actual client. The merge process will prompt the user to identify those records to be merged from each client. Once complete, the merge process will generate a report that outlines the changes made during the merge. If you do not see the client in the list for merging, you can choose Search Client to find the client. You can adjust your search parameters using Client Match Scoring.
